I get this blend with every order. No connoisseur, but we both like it and I like mild and he like bold so it works for both of us.

This coffee has an exceptional aroma. I wake up every morning looking forward to my first cup of coffee. The aroma is very intoxicating to me, in fact I spend the first minute simply inhaling the steamy butterscotch vapors. I regret that I only ordered a 1 lb bag. Don't make that mistake, go ahead and get a 5 lb. Trust me, you won't be sorry. This is the way coffee should be made.

Let me just say that my son loves this stuff. So this is more for him...If you ask him what he likes about he'll say that it's coffee...Highlander sounds cool and grog sounds like something Vikings would drink.

Highlander Grog is my husband's go-to coffee for daily drinking. We are apiculturists so we have plenty of honey to add. He loves his with a tablespoon of honey in a liter coffee mug and I enjoy mine decaf with cream. It is fragrant, creamy, almost buttery... quite an interesting flavor! 5lb whole bean bags last my husband about 1 month for daily fresh ground coffee. We fill a quart jar twice a week with the beans for daily use and keep the big bag of beans sealed tight in freezer between uses.
