This coffee has an exceptional aroma. I wake up every morning looking forward to my first cup of coffee. The aroma is very intoxicating to me, in fact I spend the first minute simply inhaling the steamy butterscotch vapors. I regret that I only ordered a 1 lb bag. Don't make that mistake, go ahead and get a 5 lb. Trust me, you won't be sorry. This is the way coffee should be made.

Grind your own beans, do not skimp on the quantity and take it to a more finely powderized product for your drip. French press is to die for with this grind.

Highlander Grog is my husband's go-to coffee for daily drinking. We are apiculturists so we have plenty of honey to add. He loves his with a tablespoon of honey in a liter coffee mug and I enjoy mine decaf with cream. It is fragrant, creamy, almost buttery... quite an interesting flavor! 5lb whole bean bags last my husband about 1 month for daily fresh ground coffee. We fill a quart jar twice a week with the beans for daily use and keep the big bag of beans sealed tight in freezer between uses.

This coffee is a wonderful way to begin or end your day. Particularly good cold brewed. You won't go wrong with this choice.
