Popayan Supremo (Medium roast)

I ordered this in a Medium Roast. Seems a little too roasted. Next time I will try the Light roast. Overall still a good coffee.

Pretty good columbian supremo
Reviewed by Joe S. from Edenton, NC, USA on August 18, 2009
This is pretty good columbian.....I mean its a little strong in an acidic sort of way. I love strong in a non-acidic (bold) way, and this is a little strong in an acidic way for me. However, its okay, I think I'm going to try the 7 bean blend next, since its low acidity, and just double the amount of beans that I use to give it some strength or boldness.

Great taste, but on the weak side

Great taste, but we had to use more beans than normal to get a reasonably strong coffee.

my usual coffee
Reviewed by Dr. B from Oak Brook, IL, USA on January 30, 2009
This is the coffee that we have used for the last 4 years. We use one to two pots a day. We were using Colombian Pea berry but the roasters began to roast it to heavily about a year before they moved from the Miami area. When I talked to the company I was told that most people wanted a deeper roast. I thought that the light roast may be better but it was still to dark (or as I call it burnt). The only coffee that is roasted just right for my taste in the light roast Colombian Popayan Supremo light roast
